Britten’s 100th birthday was celebrated at Trinity with a private screening of Tony Britten’s new film Peace and Conflict.

Former Trinity chorister Tony Britten is best known as the composer of the UEFA Champions League theme. His film charts Benjamin’s school days and includes references to Trinity Boys Choir. It is currently DVD of the month in BBC Music Magazine and has been nominated for various international awards.

Three Trinity boys are performing the role of Miles in Britten’s The Turn of The Screw in Europe: Sebastian Davies and Dominic Williams in Bologna, Italy, and Williams Gardner in Dusseldorf, Germany.
