Nick Mulroy

Nicholas was a chorister at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral and read Modern Languages at Cambridge and completed postgraduate studies at RAM.

As a singer he has appeared at venues across the world, including Bach Matthew Passion with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Monteverdi Vespers in Carnegie Hall, and St John Passion in Bach’s Thomaskirche.

He enjoyed prolonged relationships with some of the leading figures in the field, including Laurence Cummings, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Emmanuelle Haïm, Paul McCreesh. Personal highlights include the Christmas Oratorio in the Sydney Opera House, Rameau at the Paris Opéra, and Monteverdi’s Combattimento in the Scuola di San Rocco, as well as many appearances at the Wigmore Hall, in repertoire from Purcell to Stephen Hough, via Bach and Schubert.

He was thrilled, in September 2024, to take over from the great David Swinson as Director of Trinity Boys Choir.
