Rebecca studied Bassoon at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, graduating with first-class honours before completing an MMus at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on a scholarship. During her studies, she won multiple prizes, including the Three Choirs Festival Ensemble Prize, Howarth Double Reed Prize and the RWCMD Concerto Prize.
She has performed with orchestras such as the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera, Oxford Philharmonic, Sinfonia Viva, and the Royal Shakespeare Company. She was Co-Principal Bassoon with Southbank Sinfonia in 2017. As a soloist, she has appeared with ensembles including the RWCMD Chamber Orchestra and Sinfonia of Birmingham, and as a chamber musician toured the UK and Europe with the Aquilon Ensemble, featuring on BBC Radio 3.
Building on her performing career, Rebecca transitioned into orchestra management, shaping artistic projects as Orchestra and Concerts Manager with Orchestra of the Swan before taking on pivotal roles at English National Opera and the Royal Opera House. Her unique blend of musical insight and administrative expertise now drives her work with the Trinity Boys Choir.
